FESTIVAL LOCATION
Lake Macquarie foreshore, The Esplanade Warners Bay.
ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures will commence at 7.00am on the day of the event and reopen at 11.00am. Detours will be in place between Kings Road Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road Speers Point.
It is recommended athletes park their cars behind The Esplande Shops in the carpark off John Street.

THE COURSE
All events will be run on a course that follows the foreshore of Lake Macquarie starting and finishing at Warners Bay. You will run between Warners Bay and Speers Point. The course is relatively flat with no hills of any consequence. The surface is excellent. The course is totally traffic free.
The Half Marathon (21.1km) competitors will complete 2¼ loops of the course. The 10.5km Fun Run (Run/Walk) will complete one loop. Kids Scamper will be a 4km course, 2km out, turn and back to the finish line.

**Early Bird Entry finishes on Friday 12th 2011. No T-Shirts will be available for Late Registrations.
All entries will be entitled to event merchandise of a drink bottle and finishers medallion. Official photographs will be made available free of charge to all participants to download from the website.

RACE PACK PICK UP
Race Packs can be collected on Saturday 27th August 2011 between 1.00pm – 5.00pmat the event venue on The Esplanade, Warners Bay and also prior to the race on Sunday 28th August 2011 between 6.00am – 7.30am.
LATE REGISTRATION
Late Registration is available online until August 26 2011. Also available at the event venue in the Late Registration tent on both Saturday 27 August 2011 between 1.00pm – 5.00pm, and Sunday 28th August 2011 between 6.00am – 7.30am, The Esplanade, Warners Bay.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by Money Order, Cheque or Credit Card (i.e. Visa, MasterCard)
REFUND POLICY
Full refund will be made up until August 19th after which a 25% administration fee will be deducted for all late race withdrawals. Refunds will not be issued at all after August 27th 2011.
EVENT TIMING
New Multisport Australia timing chips will be utilised for all events and are INSIDE THE RACE BIBS supplied within your Race Pack, the bibs should be attached to your shirt. As timing chips are contained within the race bibs this year and do not need to be returned.
BAGGAGE CLAIM
Baggage Claim Area is provided and supervised during the race. Possessions will be bagged and require your race number and verification of your race bib for collection

PRESENTATION
Presentation will be held on site starting after conclusion of the event at approximately 10.30am. Trophies will be awarded to the overall first three placegetters and Medallions to first placegetters in all age categories. All entrants will be eligible for random giveaway prizes providing you are in attendance at the presentation.
AID STATIONS
Will be every 2km. They will serve water and isotonic drinks.
RESULTS & PHOTOS

EXHIBITION SITES
