All events will be run on a course that follows the foreshore of Lake Macquarie starting and finishing at Warners Bay. You will run between Warners Bay and Speers Point. The course is relatively flat with no hills of any consequence. The road surface is excellent and totally traffic free. Half Marathon competitors will complete 2ΒΌ loops of the course. The 10.5km run and walk will complete only one loop.
Water Stations will be positioned throughout the course with water or Powerade for runners.
Kilometer marks are placed around the course at 1km intervals.
Road Closures will be between Kings Road Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road Speers Point starting at 7am and will re-open for traffic at 11am
It is recommended for athletes to park their cars behind The Esplanade shops in the carpark off John Street.
